Centrally located within Sarlat's medieval Center!

Located within the medieval center of Sarlat, we offer an amazing location to explore Sarlat and the Dordogne region. Our building was constructed in 1503 and is adjacent to St Sacerdos Cathedral. La Lanterne has been a chambre d'hote for over 10 years and has hosted many nationalities wishing to experience old-world France at it's best.

We have the famous Sarlat markets 100 feet from our doorstep on Wednesdays and Saturdays

    La Lanterne has been running as a chambre d'hote for over 10 years now in the heart of the Perigord Noir, Sarlat. We are located within the medieval city center along Rue Montaigne with wonderful views of St. Sacerdos Cathedral. Our namesake is from the Lanterne des Morts which is visible over the wall from our front door. We love hosting many nationalities - 23 and counting - and meeting the people of the world.
