We have been travelling to the Périgord for many years in our motorhome, ‘Angelique’ and never tire of its beauty, its historical significance, cultural identity, food, wine and the friendliness of its people!
Internet searches will provide you with an enormous amount of fantastic information but we felt there was a need for a Website dedicated to the area and developed around visitors own personal experiences and suggestions. Of course, there are several excellent on-line review websites but this is a dedicated resource that users can feel they are part of and contribute to, for the enjoyment of others!
The website has a particular focus on campsites as a base for visitors, not just because we have a Motorhome but because most campsites provide Chalets, Static Caravans (Bungalows or ‘Mobil-Home’ and fully equipped Canvas Tents to suit all needs! However, the Dordogne has an abundance of Gites and BnB accommodation all waiting to attended to your every need and give you a holiday you’ll remember!
